Our boy Abraham

The time spent with Abraham has been a special learning experience for many reasons:








~ His owner is a great friend and brother
~ Every animal is different, unique, special in their own way
~ Animals adapt to new surroundings
~ When given the chance, even shy animals can pleasantly surprise us
~ "Old dogs can learn new tricks"
~ Patience waiting for a kitty hug has big rewards


On 10/27/09

Abe was batting at Buttons as he walked playfully behind him!
He was pawing around under a pillow looking for Cowboy.
Yea, our little grumpy sweet boy, kitty lover Cowboy!

Hahaha ~ they will be playing soon :))


Today, 11/2/09 Abe jumped up on the couch with Buttons. Yay!
It has been nice to see him take the initiative.

Progress...sweet progress...
He is part of the family now; he just isn't that into hugs;))
We'll keep workin' on that one...

My computer guy is working on editing pics so hopefully we will have an album up soon.

Here is a preview of the boy! He is playing in the living room with the rest of the family now.
Everyone is getting along for the most part. Cowboy is working on "not chasing the kitty".
Buttons just steps aside or stares at him as if to say, "Here we go again..."

Yes, Abraham is becoming a little socialite.

He walks around the house, now when the other boys are out and about. Yes, even Cowboy. Cowboy no longer seems to think of him as a toy to chase.
Hahaha ~ Progress is sweet...

It is so cute to see Abe bat at the mouse on a string; he really gets his body into it.
When I get the photos on my computer, I will show you.
I am hoping to get it on video as well.
I need to talk to my Producer about that!

OOH, I can't believe that I didn't tell you yet!

While Abe was playing with the little pink and orange mouse, Buttons came over and stretched out to watch. He was not interested at all, or at least that is what he wanted us to think. He would casually look away as to not show any interest in the game, and when I swung the toy out near him, he would close his eyes.

So much personality! They are so much fun.
